Thinking About Thinking

The University will be hosting a panel event of high achievers and experts to help students understand how changing the way they approach the very process of thinking can significantly improve academic results, increase employment prospects and maintain well-being. They will provide practical guidance based upon their life’s achievement in an event that is expected to be entertaining as well as educational.
The panel will consist of Radio 4 journalist and law alumna Aasmah Mir (panel chair); Metacognitive psychologist Dr Stephen Fleming; Olympic gold medallist and law alumna Georgie Twigg; Pacific Ocean solo rower, author and alumna Elsa Hammond; Professor, employment law QC of the year, former GB squad road cyclist, law alumnus Michael Ford QC; and CEO of mental well-being charity LawCare, Elizabeth Rimmer
The event is organised by the University of Bristol Law School and sponsored by Slaughter and May.
