Honour Judge Barry Cotter

His Honour Judge Barry Cotter will deliver a talk 'Impending changes to litigation and the court system'. This seminar will be of special interest to anyone who intends to be a litigation lawyer in the future and will explain the scope of what is said to be a once in a generation reform of the justice system.
Since 2010 Barry has been the senior resident civil Judge in Devon and Cornwall, a Deputy High Court Judge (QBD and Administrative Court) and the Technology and Construction Judge for the South West. He also sits in criminal courts in Bristol. He was a barrister from 1985-201, a Recorder sitting in the Crown Court 2002-2010 and was appointed to the Civil Justice Council in 2016.
