Come along to find out more about the society and network with members!

On the 24th October, the Pro Bono Society will be hosting their first Launch Night. This will be an opportunity for new, returning and perspective members to meet the committee; network with the society’s partner firms and charities; and ask any questions they may have in regards to the programs in place for the upcoming year.

The Launch Night will be the official announcement of the society’s first Patron, Rebecca Naylor – Head of Pro Bono at Reed Smith for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Alongside this, further details of placements, educational opportunities and the new termly opinion newsletter will be released, and application dates published.

After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session and a drinks reception. Sign up to event via Facebook.

Opportunities vary from low scale, one off commitments to responsibilities that will stretch across the whole of your degree. Legal placements, educational opportunities and fundraising initiatives have been established to ensure that members have a wealth of options to help those in need.

Our partnership with the Avon and Bristol Law Centre has been a huge part of our growth and development since the Pro Bono Society’s creation in 2015. Each year, we work alongside them to fundraise for a specific cause. Find out more about the 2017-2018 initiative.
