The newly formed Bristol University Medical Law Society will be holding their Launch Night in the Lady Hale Moot Court in 8-10 Berkley Sqaure on the 26th October 2017.

We have managed to secure Hazel Biggs to give an introductory talk. Her previous achievements include:

  • Working for the National Health Service
  • Chaired local and multi-centre NHS Research Ethics Committees
  • Member of the GMC working group
  • Being involved with Dignity in Dying

And she is currently:

  • Editor in Chief of the Medical Law Review
  • Professor of Healthcare Law and Bioethics at the University of Southampton
  • Ethics advisor to the Wales Cancer Bank and a Senior Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.
