“A Life Course Approach to Chronic Disease Epidemiology”, edited by Diana Kuh and Yoav Ben-Shlomo appeared in 1997, the book launching the career of life course epidemiology. A greatly expanded third edition of the book, now titled “A life course approach to the epidemiology of chronic diseases and ageing“ – with Di and Yoav being joined by Ezra Susser and Joanna M Blodgett as editors - will be launched on 12th March at 3.30-5.00pm at a special seminar in Oakfield House OS6. There will be short talks on the life course approach to health effects of climate change; capturing life course exposures with exposomics; , a life course approach to mental health and translational geroscience with (in edition to the 4 editors) Mary Margaret Johnson, Oliver Robinson, Kerry Keyes, Dan Belsky, and George Davey Smith.
