What is it like to study Innovation?
Student Showcase 2020
We've just launched a digital showcase to highlight the final year projects from the first cohort of students to complete our undergraduate programme.
The Centre has an emphasis on challenge-based, collaborative learning, which allows students to draw upon their subject specialism while working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver new and innovative solutions to a real-world challenge.
We encourage group work at the Centre and our students come from a broad range of backgrounds across the arts and sciences. The outputs of our interdisciplinary approach are projects that are wide in scope and we are very proud of our 2020 graduates who managed to produce excellent work in difficult circumstances.
Projects include:
- A High Tech SAAS product aimed at the creative industries that uses machine learning to speed up the production of 3D assets for games and TV production.
- A service design project that imagines how responsibility for NHS records could be put into the hands of the patient.
- An industrial design project that explores the potential of a female urinal to vastly improve the event experience.
