The UK Forum on Haemoglobin Disorders is a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare professionals interested in all aspects of sickle cell disease, thalassaemia and related conditions. The Forum is now a recognised and respected organisation involved in formulating national policy for screening and management of these conditions (www.haemoglobin.org.uk).

The 52nd Academic Meeting of the UKFHD will start with talks on the launch of the new peer review standards, the upgraded and revamped NHR and a Covid-19 update, followed by a joint NHP/UKFHD session. The afternoon talks will be patient-focussed.

Registration for this meeting is free of charge for HCPs working within the NHS.
