This network is for staff who stammer and who would like to share experiences, access a support network and / or raise awareness of stammering at work.

The staff who stammer network meets every 3 weeks.

How we can help

We provide peer support and signposting for issues relating to stammering in the workplace.

We aim to work with the University to ensure that all staff who stammer at Bristol have a consistent and positive experience at the University.

Membership of the network is open to all University staff who stammer (overtly or covertly). There is no subscription fee. Colleagues who don’t stammer but are interested in finding out more about stammering are welcome to get in touch too.

The ESN and Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) have produced ‘Understanding Stammering’, a guide for employers, available to download here
