Self-Service Transcripts

Student systems have developed new functionality so that a self-service final transcript will be created when a student is made successful in SITS. You can see main award release dates on the Exam Board dates summary spreadsheet, but note this applies to all students who are made successful, including:

  • UG, PGT and PGR
  • Study Abroad and Erasmus
  • International Foundation Programme students
  • Completed programme awards and exit awards

IMPORTANT - This is only for students made successful after the new functionality was introduced i.e. start of July 2020, as the self-service transcript is created when the student is made successful.

Note: We don't currently offer a self-service feature for interim transcripts, as this introduces the risk that mark data is being worked on so isn’t accurate.  For successful students, mark data should be complete, so we can safely generate transcripts at the point they become successful.

On self-service transcripts, the following text is added at the top of each page:

Student number (SPR) – Student name

Below that, on the first page only, the following text is added:

To request award verifications and transcripts directly, visit

Students can view and download the self-service transcripts via eVision after they have been made successful.

When made successful, students studying and being awarded a UoB degree will continue to receive a personalised email notifying them that their classification is available in StudentInfo and explaining how to download a copy from eVision. Students are encouraged to download and save a copy as soon as possible, as access will be removed along with other UoB account access.  See email text for reference below.
