What you can study
At the School of Modern Languages, we have a passion for languages and linguistics! You can study a range of European and Asian languages with us, through our University Wide Language Programme (UWLP) and Modern Languages (MODL) units. If you are interested in the structures and development of language, we also offer a variety of general and language-specific linguistics units.
Please note that language units are full-year units (TB4).

Pre-requisites
To For Linguistics units:
- Year 2 units require some university study in the discipline.
- Year 3 units require a strong background in the discipline.
