Keynote presentation

Professor Guy Howard gave a keynote presentation on climate change impacts on water, sanitation, and health to the Working Group of the UNECE Protocol on Water and Health on 19 May. The Protocol is a unique legally binding instrument that aims to protect human health by better water management and by reducing water-related diseases. It is served by the UNECE and WHO-Europe. Guy’s presentation outlined how climate change may affect water and sanitation services, what actions will be required, and how the Protocol could support improved resilience. (19 May 2022)
