The UNDT group has a story of successfully translating ideas into the real world through the exploitation of IP in new companies. In the last five years, two spin out companies have been created using IP developed at the UNDT group: Inductosense and Metasonics.
Their value and originality has been recognised with both awards and funding; Metasonics has recently won this year’s New Enterprise Competition [NEC] and £10,000 funding, and Industosense secured a £489,000 grant from Innovate UK, the UK’s Innovation agency to continue developing teh business.
