What attributes do mobile learners need for success?

• A ‘mobilised’ learner – provoked, stimulated to act..
• 'Stumbling upon'  – ability to make connections, notice
• Curious; hypothesising; self-initiated; confident; experimental;
• Self aware – critical reflection on barriers to and opportunities for success
• Opportunities to move around
• Ability to move
• Capacity to synchronise/integrate learning ‘outputs’
• Ability to cope with/learn in an unstructured context
• Sense of self as learner – self/culturally defined? juggling this
• Ability to define own learning outcomes
• Permission/ownership of technology/tools for learning – and to pursue own interests
• Success requires your sense of self as a learner to fit with cultural context/system/those who define success
• Independence / anonymity? / collaborative
