Welcome from the Head of School
Welcome to the School of Earth Sciences!
Earth Sciences applies all the sciences to understanding how our planet works. You, our future Earth Scientists, will address key challenges facing our society from climate change to the need for metals for a sustainable future. I hope you find your time in Bristol inspiring and intellectually challenging. I look forward to meeting lots of new students during Welcome Week then in discussion groups and classrooms throughout your degree with us at Bristol.

Important information that you need to read through is posted below. Please read through the linked documents carefully, beginning with the information booklet. There are some things that you need to do before you arrive to begin your studies.
- Student Declaration Form. This is an online form, to be completed by 2pm on Wednesday 28 August 2024 by all students.

Welcome Week begins on Monday 9 September. To welcome you to the University of Bristol and help you get ready to start your course we have a range of events taking place during Welcome Week. You can view the timetable below.

After you have confirmed your registration details, you will be able to see the timetable and other university activities in the University of Bristol app. Download from Google Play or the App Store.
