Susannah May has won the British School at Rome's Gladstone Prize for her essay on Apollonius of Rhodes.

Susannah May has won the British School at Rome's Gladstone Prize for her essay on Apollonius of Rhodes, which she wrote for her tutor Richard Buxton. The Gladstone Memorial Trust offers a prize worth £300 towards the cost of a place on the 2010 Summer School to the winner of an essay competition, open to any person in full-time undergraduate study in the UK.
