I am Hans, and my journey in medicine has been both rewarding and enlightening. Having had the privilege to study at the University of Bristol, I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and a Master of Research in Health Sciences with distinction. My master's research on 'Urinary Stone Disease' was a deeply enriching experience, allowing me to delve into complex medical challenges and contribute to our understanding of the field.

My clinical roles have taken me through various departments, from Emergency and Acute Medicine to Orthopedics and General Practice. Each experience has enriched my perspective and deepened my commitment to patient care. Currently, I'm undertaking a CDT PhD in Digital Health and Care at the University of Bristol, which has been a fascinating journey into the world of med-tech. This has given me insights into computer programming, artificial intelligence, and more, all with the aim of enhancing healthcare.

Outside of traditional medicine, I've been fortunate to be involved in some truly innovative projects. Co-founding GreenTech.Innovations has been a lesson in sustainability and technology, while my fellowship with BiteLabs Healthtech has further fuelled my passion for integrating technology into healthcare.

I am very passionate about research, having published numerous international research, presentations and talks. Furthermore, I am a keen teacher and actively continue in the process of teaching and collaboration.

While I've been honoured with several awards, research grants and recognitions, including a £10,000 Research grant and a role as a Clinical Champion for BMJ, I see them as reminders of the support and collaboration I've received along the way. In the ever-evolving realm of med-tech and bio technology, I'm constantly learning and striving to bridge the gap between clinical practice and technological advancements. My vision is simple: to contribute meaningfully to the future of healthcare, ensuring it's both innovative and patient-centred.

Outside of my academic, entrepreneurship and clinical endeavours, I am an avid basketball, guitar player and painter.

If you have any ideas or want to discuss and learn from each other, I am always open to collaboration.
