I come from a diverse academic background, starting with a degree in Fine Art, followed by working for the Bristol International Animation Festival, then campaigning for press freedom and plurality.

 

After a few years, I then decided to retrain due to my interest in both the arts and science and did a degree in Radiography. My main interests there were trauma, orthopaedics, Cardiology (cath lab), CT and MRI. It gave me a wide clinical grounding and knowledge of how the NHS runs and the various challenges facing it.

 

 

Post covid, I left and did an MSc in Virtual Reality including designing scenarios for health training.

 

I also have a strong interest in politics and the media and how decisions affect health provision and outcomes.

 

I recently started practicing Ba daun Jin and it has been interesting seeing its effectiveness and how small movements and breathing make a difference.
