Meet Nura Aabe MSc Psychology of Education alumni (now PhD Disability Studies student), who drew on her personal experiences to set-up her own charity Autism Independence.

Nura’s life mission is to raise awareness of autism in ethnic minority groups, where it has huge stigma. Her community organisation Autism Independence will help marginalised families affected by autism, including her own.
