Planning a smarter energy future for Bristol

11 September 2015, 12.00 PM - 11 September 2015, 3.00 PM

Bristol Green Capital Partnership and STEEP project lunchtime talk

Open Space Bristol

Please join us for some networking, a light lunch and an opportunity to hear about and discuss the findings of a two year EU project - Systems Thinking for Comprehensive City Efficient Energy Planning (STEEP).

Through systems engineering, city stakeholders were exploring how to move towards more sustainable and efficient smart city planning. As the project draws to a close, the Bristol project partners (Arup, Bristol City Council, Centre for Sustainable Energy, University of Bristol) will present their outputs and share their findings on approaches to smart energy planning in Bristol. The STEEP project was supported by EU FP7 funding.

The event will also provide early insight into the next Climate and Energy Framework for Bristol that Bristol City Council will be publishing later this year.

Facilitated by the Bristol Green Capital Partnership, the event includes networking time, information stands, a light lunch, presentations and a panel discussion.

Registration is free, via the following Eventbrite link: https://bristolsteep.eventbrite.co.uk
