Katie Grey, Corporate Relations Manager at RedR UK, and Rebekah Rice, RedR Member and Engineer, will talk about the work of RedR UK, an international disaster relief charity. You will find out about RedR’s approach to sustainable disaster relief through capacity building, and hear case studies from RedR responses all over the world, including to Typhoon Haiyan and the recent Nepal earthquakes, while Rebekah will discuss her personal experience in South Sudan. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out how engineers can get involved in humanitarian work, and hear about upcoming RedR events and activities.
