Paleocean fertilisation and carbon sequestration
Priority Road Complex, room 1E4
The Marine Ecology and Climate group is organising a special seminar by Pedro Cermeno (Barcelona) and Sergio Vallina (MIT/Barcelona) on "PaleOcean fertilization and Carbon sequestration". They will talk in particular about the interplay between the evolution of marine diatoms, the silica cycle and the decline of atmospheric CO2 during the Cenozoic.
Feel free to join us for lunch afterwards.
Pedro and Sergio will be visiting for the rest of the week (till Friday 11 December) and are happy to meet with people. Please contact Fanny Moteiro at f.monteiro@bristol.ac.uk if you are interested in meeting with them.
