A free public talk by Dr Suzanne Audrey, University of Bristol, and Jayne Mills, Bristol City Council, who argue that walking is transport and address a series of related issues. Is walking neglected in comparison with other forms of transport? Should Bristol be a 'walking city'? How do walkers compare with cyclists, car drivers and public transport users in Bristol? Why and how should we promote walking?
