Bristol International Development Conference 2016

6 February 2016, 9.00 AM - 6 February 2016, 5.00 PM

School of Chemistry, Cantock's Close, University of Bristol

The Bristol International Development Conference brings together those with a passion for international development with those who are thinkers, leaders and decision makers in the field. By promoting conversation centred on human rights, development and humanitarian work the conference has repeatedly provided huge insight into the challenges faced by the international development sector.

They run one day of speakers, panels and debates exploring the issues around international development. It's the perfect opportunity to learn more if you're new to these issues, or if you want to meet others involved in development.

The theme for this year's BIDC is 'The New Face of Aid' and we've got some exciting speakers coming in to get you thinking about the future of aid across the globe. Whether you've attended before or this is your first time at the BIDC, we've prepared all sorts of ways for you to get engaged in international development.

You can choose to listen to experts in the industry or find out a bit more about student activism in and around Bristol through one of our exciting streams: 'The Child', 'The Farmer' or 'The Refugee'. Or if you can't decide then just switch between all three!
