1 December 2015, 6.00 PM - 1 December 2015, 8.00 PM

Prof Rich Pancost

Pugsley Lecture Theatre, Queens Building, University Walk, University of Bristol, BS8 1TR

How will our world change in the next 50 years; how should that influence how we build today? Climate change will cause our world to warm, more regular heat waves and greater intensity rainfalls all with profound uncertainty. So how do we build our cities and nations not only to be sustainable, but also resilient to unprecedented environmental challenges?

About the Speaker

Rich Pancost is an engaging speaker at the heart of global research programmes dealing with climate uncertainty. Rich will also reflect on Bristol’s year as European Green Capital, and wrap up the ICE Bristol’s 2015 lecture series of ‘Almost Anyone’s Guide to Infrastructure’.
