Engage Cafe: Alternative, sustainable transport

2 March 2015, 6.30 PM - 2 March 2015, 7.30 PM

Friska Cafe, Queens Road, Clifton Triangle, near Sainsbury's Local, Bristol

Next Monday 2nd March from 6.30pm in Friska Cafe (Queens Road - Clifton Triangle, near Sainsbury's Local) is Engage Cafe! The theme for this Cafe is alternative, sustainable transport. The last Cafe was a sell-out!

Engage Cafe, is a FREE, informal event held monthly that fosters a community of like-minded students. Each Cafe has a different sustainability focus. Students can engage in Q&A sessions, listen to a range of speakers, and are encouraged to interact within various debates and discussions.

It's a great opportunity for interdisciplinary learning for students, and for speakers to share their expertise with eager listeners. As Bristol Green Capital 2015 has started, the event legacy will contribute to our vision of a future green Bristol at UoB/UBU. One of the University's pledges for the year is to increase its sustainable transport usage!

Standard entry is free. Tickets are available here: http://www.ubu.org.uk/ents/event/2117/
If you'd like to order a delicious meal with your ticket, this is £3 (discounted more than half the regular price!) and includes a soft drink - choose from a delicious range of Hotboxes (vegan, vegetarian, gluten/wheat/dairy free available). Select the 'Hotbox' option on the ticket form!

Hope to see you there!
