About the talk
This talk will introduce recent results from two areas of work being undertaken at CSIRO, Australia. The first area of work is the greenhouse gas measurement program. Here I will focus on interpretation of atmospheric CO2 measurements from Macquarie Island in the Southern Ocean. The second area of work is the development of an Earth System Model, ACCESS-ESM1, and its use for simulating historical and future carbon fluxes. Example results from this work will be focussed on land carbon, climate and aerosol interactions from 1850-2005.
Open to all UoB staff and students. No booking required.
