Abstract

The government has identified the South West as a possible site for a new generation of  nuclear power plants.  As such, our region is often considered to be crucial to the UK’s plans for energy security and low-carbon electricity.  But what might different visions of a ‘nuclear future’ look like, both locally and globally, and what are the associated risks?  Join our panel of researchers in a thought-provoking discussion about the promise and perils of nuclear power.
