1 November 2014, 2.00 PM - 1 November 2014, 2.00 PM

Merchant Venturers Building, Woodland Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1UB
The Cabot Institute is helping to organise this event which is taking place within a programme of 21 events as part of the Thinking Futures Festival ,  Sat 1 – Tue 11 November 2014. Bookings are particularly welcomed from public audiences at this stage.

The event will take place from 1 November, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

City infrastructure offers many things – housing, community services, places to work and play, and often a sense of local pride. However, this infrastructure also affects our behaviour, social interactions, consumption and even our resilience as a community. This event will explore the relationship between people and their built environment and discuss how communities can shape the future of their cities. Join local artists in redesigning the view from one of our most iconic structures – the Clifton Suspension Bridge – and help envision a green and resilient future for Bristol.

Admission: free, booking required in advance. http://www.bristol.ac.uk/fssl/festival/programme/2014/event1-1.html
