In this Cabot Institute lecture,  Dr Jo Hellawell, one of the full-time Earth science editors for the journal Nature Communications, will give a short talk about  the journal’s editorial policies  and where it fits in relation to the other Nature journals. She will also describe how the publication process operates and offer advice on preparing manuscripts for submission and publication. She will be happy to answer any questions regarding publishing with Nature Communications.

Nature Communications is a multidisciplinary, online-only journal that publishes high-quality research from all areas of the natural sciences as part of the Nature Publishing Group. Papers published by the journal represent important advances that are of significance to specialists within each field. Currently the journal offers either open access or subscription publication routes, but will become fully open access after the 20 of October.
