Research Frontiers in Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management
This year's Nuclear Frontiers conference offers a fee-free opportunity to learn about emerging technologies and novel methodologies in nuclear waste management, hosted at the University of Bristol, one of the UK's premier institutions for nuclear research.
The meeting will bring together scientists and engineers from Academia and Industry to showcase R&D in all aspects of managing the UK radioactive waste legacy. Topics addressed will include: decommissioning technologies, waste characterisation, treatment, packaging, disposal, site remediation and radiation effects.
Event objectives:
The aims of this conference are to:
• Provide information about the opportunities for nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management
• Identify any challenges that need to be addressed
• Showcase emerging and disruptive technologies

The conference will take place in the Will's Memorial Building Great Hall on 8th Oct, 9:00am - 17:00pm, with speakers from across industry and academia.
