The Functional Materials and the Environment Forum will bring together SMEs and other companies with academics from the University of Bristol to explore and drive innovation. This one-day event seeks to identify a set of common interests and goals across the value chain with a view to establishing multi-partner collaborations which can be supported by the Bristol Centre for Functional Nanomaterials.
The objectives of the forum are:
- To identify common challenges and new innovations in the theme of ‘Functional materials and the environment’.
- To explore collaborative opportunities with other SMEs and the University of Bristol to overcome common challenges and accelerate commercialisation.
- To provide SMEs with access routes to leading academic talent and facilities and build competitive advantage.
