15 June 2013, 9.00 AM - 15 June 2013, 9.00 AM

Bristol Harbourside

The UK’s largest free natural history event celebrates its tenth anniversary this summer, as the Bristol Festival of Nature returns to the Harbourside on the weekend of the 15 and 16 June 2013.

Giving wildlife enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to explore, and enjoy the natural world in the heart of the city, the Festival brings together over 150 organisations for a programme of interactive activities, live entertainment, hands-on experiences, a market packed with local produce, and much more.

As well as activities from leading local and national conservation organisations, new additions for 2013 include the Seeds of Change ballast seed garden, a pop-up butterfly house, and an arts tent with both exhibitions and hands-on workshops.

What’s more, to celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Festival will be launching Bristol99, giving everyone the chance to discover the natural world in their own neighbourhood.

Bristol99 offers a packed programme of wildlife events across Bristol’s ninety-nine best sites for nature.

Visit www.festivalofnature.org, or follow @BristolFON for more information, the full series of Bristol99 events and the latest additions to the programme.
