Daphne Hewitt is a Senior Consultant at theIDLgroup, a locally based consulting firm focussing on international development, with regional offices in South East Asia and West Africa.

A significant part of their work concerns natural resource management, forestry, biodiversity conservation and protected area management, linked to issues of pro-poor development.

All postgraduate students are welcome (including 4th-year MSci students), as are any staff interested in hearing from the speaker, who will be concluding her talk with some comments on environment-related careers in the consulting field.
