The inside track on clean sky

The Inside Track Engineering seminar series kicks off the 2012-2013 academic year with a special industry event on Clean Sky.

Eric Dautriat, Executive Director of the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking will provide his overview of the Clean Sky programme.

This will be followed by a Question & Answer session with a panel from aerospace industry (including representatives from Rolls-Royce plc, AgustaWestland and Airbus) and the University of Bristol to discuss how the Clean Sky programme impacts on both sectors.

The event will conclude with a networking reception for students, the panel, and industry representatives in the Pugsley Lecture Theatre Foyer.

Time: 5.30-7.30pm (including networking reception with refreshments)

Clean Sky is a Joint Technology Initiative (JTI) that aims to develop and mature break-through 'clean technologies' for air transport. By accelerating their deployment, the JTI will contribute to Europe's strategic environmental and social priorities, and simultaneously promote competitiveness and sustainable economic growth.

Launched in January 2012, The Inside Track is an industry seminar series aimed primarily at students. Speakers from a range of industries will share their inside knowledge.
