What on earth is a sustainable city?

3 July 2012, 8.00 AM - 3 July 2012, 8.00 AM

Bordeaux Quay, Bristol

8 am - 10 am

Bristol has voted for a mayor - might this be the opportunity for some longer term thinking, and if so, what should that thinking be?

This Sustainable Business Breakfast will set out a challenging new way of thinking about how cities should function and hear two perspectives on Bristol as a future city. Firstly a political perspective from the Cabinet Member for Bristol Futures, and secondly an artistic perspective from an expert in place-shaping, who has been guiding city leaders for over 25 years.

Speakers

Councillor Guy Poultney – Lockleaze ward. Lib Dems. Responsible for Bristol’s European Green Capital Bid

Alan Boldon has worked as a consultant to towns and cities as well as developing training and leadership programmes

Organised by IMS Consulting in partnership with Bristol Green Capital
