NERC Knowledge Exchange Seminar

10 am – 11 am

NERC has recently adopted a new Impact Plan to help business to benefit from the environmental research it funds. Environmental Monitoring is all-pervasive for business and includes: Remote Sensing, Data Transformation and Environmental Instrumentation. This short Seminar will include a talk from NERC Knowledge and Innovation Manager Nathan Hill and an opportunity to pose questions. The talk will focus on:

  • What do we mean by Environmental Monitoring?
  • NERC Knowledge Exchange strategy
  • Support and funding for Knowledge Exchange projects

NERC Consultancy Sessions

11am – 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm

After the seminar you or your group can discuss specific ideas with Nathan in a dedicated 20-30 minute Consultancy Session. All sorts of ideas are welcomed, from initial concepts to fully developed projects. The support offered will include signposting to appropriate networks, funds and other sources of support, as well as general commercially-oriented input.
