You are invited to attend this South West Branch Sustainability Seminar which offers a fascinating, informative and thought provoking presentation by Tim Pollard, Head of Sustainability at Wolseley together with a workshop explaining the route to becoming a Chartered Environmentalist with Dr Andrew Townsend, BA (Hons), PhD, FRSA, CEnv, MCIOB, MIfA, MIEMA.

Julie Finch, Head of Bristol's Museums, Galleries & Archives, will introduce this event with a few words of welcome and information about the new M-Shed Museum Building.

The Drive for Reductions towards the 2050 Carbon Target

Tim Pollard will look at some of the drivers likely to stimulate take up and will define the scale and pace of the challenge ahead. He will highlight some of the practical solutions commercially available to achieve more sustainable buildings from the experience of Wolseley as one of the leading suppliers of construction materials in the workplace.
