ACCIS Conference 2011

30 September 2011, 10.00 AM - 30 September 2011, 10.00 AM

Queen's Building

The 4th Annual Conference of the Advanced Composites Centre for Innovation and Science (ACCIS) will be held in the Queen's Building at the University of Bristol on Friday 30 September 2011.

Our current research activities and future plans will be highlighted throughout the morning via a series of short presentations given by ACCIS academic staff. A poster session hosted by ACCIS Postdoctoral Researchers and PhD Students will follow, allowing delegates a further look at some of the research being undertaken within ACCIS.

We will also offer the opportunity for delegates to take a closer look behind the scenes at ACCIS, with dedicated lab tours for those who request these at the time of registration.

In addition, delegates are invited to visit the state-of-the-art National Composites Centre (NCC) throughout the afternoon from 2 pm. Delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements to visit the NCC, which is located 8 miles from the University at the Bristol and Bath Science Park, accessible from the M4 / M32 junction. Travel details and a map are available on the NCC website.

For further information and registration details, please visit the ACCIS Conference website.
