SW2 Systems Network Seminar
He is visiting the Schumacher Institute to teach the Sustainability Toolkit class in the evening of the same day. Peter is interested in looking at some of the theory behind what we are all doing. He would like to review his own experiences with systems thinking over the near 50 years of his work, highlighting what for him have been key influences and documents. He would particularly like to explore the dialectic between 'physicalist' and 'metaphysical' perspectives -- professing himself to be an 'open-minded physicalist'.
If you would like to come to what promises to be a lively and intriguing session, please contact Ian Roderick via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The seminar will take place at St Nicholas House, 31-34 High Street, Bristol BS1 2AW. ** NOTE: this is a new address **
To cover the cost of the room, we will ask you to contribute £10 each if you can afford it (receipts available).
If you would like to network and enjoy a cup of tea before the session, please do come from 2pm onwards.
