The Bristol Environmental Risk Research Centre (BRISK) -directed by Professor Steve Sparks at the University of Bristol - will be holding a summer school in July 2011. The school will provide advanced training in the assessment of risk and uncertainty in environmental science, and in particular in the assessment of natural hazards.It is aimed at NERC-funded research students, early career researchers and scientists from industry and government agencies.
