Personal Carbon Trading Seminar

As part of the cross-University open teaching unit on Sustainable Development, a seminar has been organised to explore the relative advantages and disadvantages of various schemes aimed at reducing personal carbon emissions. All are welcome to attend and join an interactive debate, which will feature presenations from:
  • Samuel Thumim, Head of Research at the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) and co-author of 'A Rough Guide to Individual Carbon Trading'
  • Dr Maggie Studholme, Teaching Associate, Department of Sociology, Politics and International Studies
  • Dr Alvin Birdi, Teaching Fellow, Department of Economics
