Research without Borders: A festival of postgraduate research
31 January 2017
Monday 8 May - Friday 12 May 2017, central Bristol, venues to be confirmed
Elizabeth Blackwell Institute is delighted to support the University of Bristol flagship festival of postgraduate research, organised by the Bristol Doctoral College.
Now in its fourth year, ‘Research without Borders’ 2017 is bigger and better than ever before and brings together postgraduate research students from across all disciplines to create, collaborate and connect. This year’s festival will include a week-long series of interactive showcase events: an evening discussion series; an afternoon showcase exhibition at Colston Hall, and the finals of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition.
Research without Borders discussion series, Monday 8 May - Thursday 11 May 2017
These four evening discussions (provisionally scheduled between 5-8pm, venues to be confirmed) will address four broad challenges facing researchers and the wider world through a series of presentations and general debate.
The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute invites postgraduate researchers to present their research at the discussion session on Tuesday 9th of May - Global health: How can we stop superbugs?
