DNA fragmentation and normalisation
High throughput DNA fragmentation is used in genomic DNA library preparation techniques.
We have a Covaris E220 instrument to enable accurate high throughput fragmentation. Many methods, including microarrays, require DNA to be normalised to a standard concentration and this can be quickly and accurately achieved via our liquid handling systems.
Fragmentation and normalisation
- Covaris E220 instrument for high throughput DNA fragmentation
- Beckman Coulter Biomek 4000 robot for pre-PCR nucleic acid manipulation such as automated normalisation and PicoGreen quantitation plate set up
Covaris E220 instrument for high throughput nucleic acid shearing using adaptive acoustic technology
Liquid handling permits accurate plate set up for PicoGreen quantitation and DNA normalisation in a pre-PCR environment.
