Bioinformatics
The Bristol Genomics Facility understands the value of offering our customers the entire workflow from experimental design through to running samples and analysing the data.
We therefore have a dedicated bioinformatician, Francisca Segers, working as part of the facility team who can assist with experimental design and/or the analysis of your next generation sequencing or microarray research project. This service is available internally at the University of Bristol and to external institutions too.
Our services include (but are not limited to):

- RNA-seq analysis
- Whole genome assembly and annotation
- Metagenomics
- Metabarcoding for microbial community analysis
