We are delighted to announce that Kerrie McNally, a post doc with Professor Pete Cullen, has been awarded a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship.
These are prestigious postdoctoral fellowships where the recipient can spend time in a number of labs as they develop their own research direction. Kerrie's fellowship is titled 'Molecular mechanisms actin(g) on endosomal sorting'.
Kerrie will be working with Emmanuel Derivery and Andrew Carter at the MRC-LMB in Cambridge and Mark von Zastrow at UCSF.
Professor Cullen said "Kerrie has been an outstanding PhD student and post-doctoral researcher. It has been a real pleasure to watch her develop her talents and flourish into an exceptional young researcher. The fellowship is just recognition of Kerrie’s talents and I cannot wait to read about the exciting work that she will be doing at the LMB".
