Applications are now open for the A.G. Leventis Research Associate Fellowship in Ancient Greek Studies

A.G. Leventis Fellowship in Ancient Greek Studies offers an exciting opportunity to pursue a programme of advanced research under the auspices of the world-ranking Institute of Greece, Rome, and the Classical Tradition.

We invite applications from scholars of any specialisation within the broad field of ancient Greek studies. Applicants will have normally completed their PhD no more than five years before taking up the post. The successful candidate will have proven ability as a researcher of international standing. It is expected that the successful candidate will take up the appointment, which is of three years’ duration, from 1 September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Grade: Research Associate Level A, Pathway 2, Grade I

Longlisted candidates will be notified shortly after the closing date. Named referees will be asked to send letter of support for the candidates by a specified date. Candidates will be required to submit a sample of their work (in English, c. 5,000–8,000 words) as soon after notification as possible and no later than 17 May 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 28 May 2019 and invited to interview on 18 June 2019.
