Dr Karim Thébault
Principal Investigator
Karim is a senior lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, and also an external member of the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (LMU Munch). His research is principally within the philosophy of physics, with a particular emphasis on time and symmetry in classical and quantum theories of gravity. He is also interested in various issues in general philosophy of science and the philosophy of the social sciences. -
Professor Stephan Hartmann

Stephan Hartmann is Professor of Philosophy of Science in the Faculty of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and the Study of Religion at LMU Munich, Alexander von Humboldt Professor, and Co-Director of the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP). His primary research and teaching areas are philosophy of science, philosophy of physics, formal epistemology, and social epistemology. -
Dr Sean Gryb
Research Associate
Sean is a theoretical physicist specializing in classical and quantum gravity, and has additional interests in the philosophical foundations of modern physics. He is currently a Research Associate in the Department of Philosophy. -
Mrs Aneta Taylor
Project Administrator
Aneta is working closely with Karim and Sean by providing administrative support for the project and helping to develop its local, national and international profile. Part of her role is also conducting academic support activities such as literature searches.
