An evening of ambitious student works by University of Bristol's second year Choreography for Theatre students. This unit introduces choreographic strategies for working with movement in performance, from sourcing everyday movement material to arranging those building blocks in more complex ways. We explore principles including time, quality, shape, and space in order to produce choreography that supports theatrical productions (as in physical theatre), as well as more dance-theatre styles in which the movement is primary.
