Bristol New Music: Marie Vermeulin

Marie Vermeulin is a virtuoso both on the keyboard and in tandem with the electronics surrounding her. The concert features the English premiere of Neal Farwell’s new concerto for piano and loudspeaker orchestra. From Pécou's dancing Gamelan, to Messiaen’s pianistic outpouring of joy as he looks towards heaven, earth – piano – sky features piano rising, unbound.

Taking place from Thursday 25th April - Sunday 28th April 2024, Bristol New Music is a city-wide festival of contemporary music and sound.

Doors will open at 1pm, with the concert start time at 1.15pm. Please arrive promptly, as latecomers will not be admitted.

Admission is £5 or free for UoB students and staff on presentation of a valid UCard. Please note that tickets can only be purchased on the door via debit/credit card transactions, as we are unable to accept cash payment.
