2025 marks 50 years since the Dentistry class of 1975 graduated. To celebrate, alumni are organising a special 50^th Anniversary Dentistry Reunion from Sunday 1 June to Thursday 5 June 2025. 1975 Dentistry alumni and their partners are warmly invited to join. 

Three days of activities are being planned with the main celebration taking place on Wednesday 4 June.

Programme

Sunday 1 June

Arrive in Bristol.

Monday 2 / Tuesday 3 June (TBC)

Alumni plan to organise a tour of the new £35m Bristol Dental School.  Also hope to tour your old student world – halls of residence, University campus, Clifton, etc.  

Restaurant bookings for evening meals will be arranged.

Wednesday 4 June (main event)

Morning – A walk around the historic Bristol floating harbour, followed by a light lunch at the SS Great Britain’s harbourside café. Take the ferry back across the harbour, or alternatively, continuing walking around harbour for more sightseeing.

Evening - Celebration aboard the SS Great Britain. This will include a welcome drink on the main deck, opportunity to explore the ship and appreciate views across the docks towards the Clifton Suspension Bridge, and a three-course meal in the dining saloon with tea / coffee. Drinks to be bought separately.

To end the evening, all attendees will have the opportunity to share a fond memory or anecdote from their time as a student.

Thursday 5 June

Check-out of hotel and depart.

Cost

If a minimum of 50 attendees (including guests) is reached, the exclusive hire of the ship for the evening will be approximately £60 per person at current prices. The meal and any drinks are not included in that price and will be approximately £50 per person based on current restaurant prices.

Dress code

Formal dress for the main evening celebration.
